Rosalie jumped when the woman spoke. She set down the book, and looked at her.
"Hello. I'm Rosalie." She said kindly. Her instincts told her be careful. She stuck her hands in her pockets so as not to repeat the Alex incident. Her eyes darted to the book in the woman's hands.
"Ancient Egyptian?" She asked. Something she studied back in college.

Leola paused for a moment. She examined the girl before her. There was an ageless beauty to her that could capture a person's attention the moment they laid their eyes on her.
"Why hello there Rosalie. I am Leola. Yes, I am quite interested in Ancient Egypt. Do you know much about it?" Leola smiled at the girl and let her look at the new book that just arrived.

Rosalie smiled and shook her head when offered the book.
"Um.. yeah, my mom studied that during college and told me about it." She lied perfectly, still smiling.

Leola smiled and held the book back close to her. She nodded as she heard the girl's mother told her much about the history. "I always thought their history is fascinating. Don't you?" One of Leola's cats, a orange cat named Sunny, jumped up on the counter and studied Rosalie. Leola glanced over at the cat and then at Rosalie. "Cats have always played an important role in their history. Guardians for the afterlife. " Leola smiled, still wondering about Rosalie.

Rosalie gave a small smile to the cat.
"Yeah I know." She said politely.
"I have to go." She said, fear rising in her, felines could sense things that others could not. Without waiting for a response, Rosalie left the store.

"Ms. Owens?"
Gia was more than shocked that her art teacher was the bookstore owner. She couldn't really explain why she chose to go inside, other than her love of books and the store's name: Four Corners. It easily could've been something with no significance, but it had a huge significance to witches like herself.
"So, art teacher by day and bookstore owner by afternoon and night?" she greeted with a smile, walking over to the front desk.

"Ms. Owens?" Leola looked up from her new book to see her new student. She smiled as the young girl entered. The book store had become quite popular lately with her students though most of the visitors tended to be witches. "Gia so good to see you again" Leola had her eye on Gia since her class. The girl showed promise, not only in art but in the ways of the craft as well. "So, art teacher by day and bookstore owner by afternoon and night?" Leola chuckled. "At night is a totally other world." She grinned. She didn't want to come out all together to scare the girl about witchcraft so instead she will try and drop small hints and let the girl piece them together. "How are you liking The Parthenon so far?"

"At night is a totally other world," Leola replied with a grin. "How are you liking The Parthenon so far?"
"It's...um..." Gia bit her lip and chuckled. "Well, it's certainly never boring." Never boring was sugar-coating it she knew. Her first day and she already had enemies! And for a simple mistake! "It's really different from my last school."

Lilly walked into the bookstore that had looked intertesting from the outside. She didnt notice the two people having a conversation off to the side. She wasnt really focused on much.
She walked around the store, until she came up to an interesting book isle. It was on witchcraft. She stooped to pick up a book that looked interesting enough. It was one on Elements. She flipped through the book, looking for somthing that would help her, at all. She found nothing, and she set the book back down, browsing through the titles more. She didnt see anything worth trying to look through, so she made her way to the front. She saw who it was having a conversation with a blond girl. She stopped. Her teacher was here, and obviouslt this was her book store.
She contimplated saying anything, then right before she was about to leave, and white cat came out fo nowhere. Lilly stooped down, and started to pet the cat. She had allways liked cats, but her mother had been alergic, and they could never have them. The laughed lightly when the cat rested its paws on her knees.
