"My whole family is on a diet, we just wanna lose a couple pounds." She said.
"And you're the one who's going to eat. I ate before I came." She looked around.
"Lead the way, Alex."

Alex grinned and took Rosalie by the hand, dragging her down and through the crowd of poeple, Using to dodge them all perfectly.
She brought Rosalie to a little cafe that was covered in vines and had a cream colored paint job with an Italian texture to it.
"Welcome to La Vie Est Belle. The best Italian restaurant in New York." Alex said, using her best fake Italian accent.
She laughed and led Rosalie to the out-door podium, where a man with a curly mustache was standing at. He handed them two menus, and directed them to their seats, telling them he'd be back in a little to take our orders.
"Grazie." Alex said, smiling up at the man as he walked away. She looked at Rosalie, and smiled at her.
"Are you sure you don't want anything?" Alex asked.

Rosalie laughed at her attempts to use an Italian accent.
"Yeah, I'm sure." She looked around the cafe, silently wishing no one she knew saw her.
"So, tell me about yourself." She said to Alex.

Alex folded her hands in her lap.
"Uh, well, im a sophomore at the Pathenon, and have, well, really only three friends, but, you know, they take care of me. I get picked on by alot of the more popular kids because they think they're better than me, cause, if you haven't noticed, im kinda filled wth energy all the time." She laughed.
"I guess they find me, immature, so, they think they have to show my puny little sophmore butt that they're older and better. I have two brothers Mike and Zack, and a sister, Jess, who's like, 18 but she acts 24." Alex giggled.
"Im sorry. I sound like im babbling." She said, and leaned forward in her chair an folding her arms on the table.
"What about you? How big is your family?" Alex asked, remembering Rosalie said something about her family before.

Rosalie laughed. Other than Alice, she'd never met someone who loved to talk.
"My only biological family is my brother Jasper. My parents died a while ago. But my adoptive family is, Edward, Alice, and Emmett Cullen. Those are my brothers and sister." She muttered something else under her breath.
"And my adoptive mother's name is Esme, and my adoptive father is Dr Carlisle Cullen." She said smiling.

Alex's eyes widened when Rosalie said the name Cullen.
She remembered what Natalie and Brianna had told her about staying away from them as much as possible.
She slowly leaned back into her chair, and sunk down a little.
"Oh, um, did you say Cullen?" Alex asked, trying to tell herself that she'd heard wrong, but failing.
She would just have to try not to think of Rosalie as a part of the Cullen family, or as Alex said, Cullen Coven. They were all like one big Coven, much like Alex and her friends, but, humans.
Or so it seemed.

Rosalie saw the fear her name put into Alex. Her protective instincts took over. Fear also meant hate. Rosalie stood up, her smile gone from her features.
"Yeah, I did say Cullen. And you have no right to hate them. Carlisle, though I didn't want this, saved me from certain death. We owe Carlisle and Esme our lives." She quickly grabbed her jacket, and headed for the door.

Alex knew she had to think quickly, and rolled her eyes, getting up.
Natalie and Brianna could kill her later. She didn't want Rosalie to think that she hated them, when she didn't.
"Rosalie, wait!" She said, getting up from her seat and running after her.
She caught up with Rosalie, and grabbed her arm.
"Please, wait. Just hear me out!" She pleaded, wanting to explain everything to Rosalie.

Rosalie turned when Alex grabbed her.
"Fine, defend your case." She said. She was still ready to walk out. She had to control her temper so that she wouldn't attack Alex right here, right now. She forgot her statement of wishing no one saw her, and wished that Jasper were here to calm her.

Alex sighed, and ran a hand through her hair.
"Look. I don't hate your family, but my friends just don't trust them so they told me to stay away from them. They don't trust any newcomers. At least not for awhile. I have no problem with new people, at all." Alex sighed again,
"What im trying to say is, I don't hate your family. I just don't know them. I don't know how to know them, im not good at that kind of stuff!" She said, tilting her head apologetically to the side.
"So, im sorry if I made you mad. Really." Alex said, hoping Rosalie wasn't too mad with her.

Rosalie sighed, suddenly feeling guilty.
"Well, I shouldn't have snapped like that. We are some what of a creepy crowd." She said looking at her sandals. She looked at Alex.
"I think I should get out of here. I have a bit of a temper problem." Without waiting for Alex's reply. Rosalie left, and headed back to the bookstore.

As Rosalie walked away, Alex sat down on the steps of the restaurant.
She was glad that Rosalie wasn't mad at her anymore, but now she had to spend the rest of her day alone.
Well, not if she went back to Elizebeth's shop!
Alex perked up at the thought and got her bag, walking back to Banks Boutique and putting on her employee apron.
(this is gonna be continued somewhere, but right now idk where!)

Leola was too busy with the new book to notice the limited traffic in her store. Before opening the book, she took it to the back room, that was just beyond a veil in the back of the store. It was there that she laid the book down on her altar. Every wiccan had their own personal altar, this was an old one that she use to use with her old coven. The metal clasps of the book fell open, Leola's finger tips warily opened the cover of the book. As soon as the book cover opened fully, a sound of a sand snow surrounded Leola. For a moment the sound and the texture of sand around her was unbearable. Leola had to center herself to gain control of the situation. She swiped her hand over the book and with that one movement, it suddenly stopped. Leola looked around her and saw a circle of sand on the floor. She turned back to the book and grinned as she read over the ancient hieroglyphics that read "Book of the Death".

Rosalie walked back into the store and immediately looked around. She headed over to the fantasy section. She looked through a couple of books. And every once in a while, she'd look around to see if she saw any of the cullens.

Leola stepped out from the back curtain when she heard the front door open. She had the Ancient Egyptian book in her hand, open and lifting through it careful not to rip the rice paper pages. As Leola approached the front of the store, she looked up from the book and glanced over at one of the isles of books and saw a blond woman standing there. Leola paused for a moment. Her senses were warning her of something but of what exactly she did not know since Spirit elementals didn't know some of the exacts with what they were being warned of. It was always a feeling, she would get in her gut. "Hello there" Her voice was calm and neutral as if she didn't feel anything. She gave the girl a kind smile.
