Robbie had rushed home after school, nearly getting a speeding ticket as he went about 20 over the residential speed limit on his motorcycle to get to his appartment and then back to school to pick up Gia. He rushed in his house, the german sheppard racing to meet him at the door. Paws slidding across the floor and a crooked grin on his face. "Mom I'm-" Then it hit him, and he slumped to the floor petting Rosco. "Come on boy, I'll let you go bathroom and then feed you." He grabbed the dog's leash and ran outside. After Robbie had finished with Rosco, he grabbed the helmet and got on his motorcycle and sped back to school. "Sorry if I'm late." Robbie admited to Gia, not sure what time it was, he handed her the helmet. "Here's the motorcylce."{{here's the motorcycle! www.totalmotorcycle.com/photos/2003models/2003-Harley-Davidson-VRSCAV-Rod.jpg}}

Gia sat on the school's front steps, waiting patiently. She tried to stop herself from checking her watch, but it was kind of hard. Running a check list in her head, she knew that the night would be fine. Boreas had been fed and taken out before she left, her doors were locked, Mr. Kalutis had his rent money, and she was dressed decently enough for a trip to the hospital and the movies. She heard a rumble and smiled as she saw a motorcycle coming towards the school. She rose to her feet and walked to the curb to wait; it had to be Robbie. Looking at her feet, she thought for a moment. Maybe heels were a bad idea for some girls, but she'd ridden a motorcycle before in them with no problem. "Sorry if I'm late. Here's the motorcycle," he said and handed her the motorcycle. She took it and gazed at the bike, impressed. "It's an amazing machine! You're lucky!" she complimented. "God! Look at this!" she exclaimed excitedly. "Now this is good old fashioned American muscle! Who made it? Harley, O.C.C.?"Outfit: www.polyvore.com/gia_outfit_28/set?id=15416769

Robbie grinned at her excitment. "Harley. It's a classic." He gave her a wink and jumped back on the motorcycle. "Hop on." He offered his hand to help her on, and couldn't help but think she looked pretty hot tonight. He starred at her heels. "Oh, are those a good idea?"

"This isn't my first time on a bike, Robbie," she assured him as she hooked the helmet. "Granted I was wearing leather boots then and not open toe, but heels are heels. I'll be fine," she said, taking his hand and climbed behind him. "Just try to avoid potholes and we'll be fine," she joked, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"Oh so not a bike virgn then?" He joked, laughing as she wrapped her arms around his waist. He liked the way it felt, he couldn't help but grin widder as he took off.
"Sorry, if I go too fast. I love speed." He pressed to gas, as the sped along the street towards the cafe.

"Oh so not a bike virgn then?" He joked and laughed.
"Nope, sorry to disappoint you," she replied.
"Sorry, if I go too fast. I love speed."
"No problem here. The faster, the better." He pressed to gas, as the sped along the street towards the cafe. When they arrived, Gia couldn't stop laughing. "It never gets old! Oh, God, I love these things!"

Robbie laughed at her laughter, "Heh, good think you met me then. I'm just as enthusiastic about them." He boldy but his arm around her waist as he they approached the door to the cafe. "Glad you liked the speed too." He wanted to say alot more things he was glad for, but stopped himself. He had watched one too many soaps with his mom.
"I'm starved how about you?"

She smiled as he put his arm around her waist, and returned the favor by putting hers around his. Even if nothing happened between her and Robbie, he was still a great friend. And it didn't seem like he had a lot of those in his life; she was glad she could be that person. "I'm so hungry it's not even funny. And I've been craving that sandwich you had when we first came here. It looked so good! What was it?"

"Honey rosted turkey club." Robbie replyed, opening the door with his free hand. Either she was really just nice or she felt something too. He had trouble reading girls when they didn't just approach him. It was practice for him with the chase.
"So, you excited about seeing that play with Leon later?" Robbie would have kicked himself in the ass, he acctually noticably grimaced. Did he have to decide to bring him up? He laughed to try to hide his own stupidity. He had every intention on bringing up something else, but then again she did seem to like drama.

"Honey rosted turkey club."
"Mmm, right, thank you," she replied and ordered it.
"So, you excited about seeing that play with Leon later?" Gia burst into laughter at the look on Robbie's face. He laughed with her, but it seemed very forced.
"You really don't like him, do you?" she asked as her laughter subsided. "Maybe I'm just being a blonde, but I don't get it. You both are in drama, for shit's sake! Not a lot of guys are into that! You'd think you'd make fast friend just bonding over that," she joked.

"I don't know he just gives me the creeps." He said before ordering the same thing as she had. "I'm sorry that I don't like him." He looked at her quizzically, pursing his lips.
He continued on to the table with her, "I know, drama club is like glee club and guys are far and few. But drama's something, that to me - lets me be a different person. Lets me feel like I'm not Robbie Piken. And I can sing pretty." He laughed a short laugh before eating some of his samwhich.

"I don't know he just gives me the creeps."
""The creeps"? Seriously?" Gia laughed. "What about Leon would give you the creeps? So he's a little intense; so were you when we first met," she chided with a smile.
"I'm sorry that I don't like him." He looked at her quizzically, pursing his lips.
"Don't be sorry! So you don't like him? It's fine. It's not like I'm going to string you up for not liking another one of my friends," she joked. Of course, with the way things were going, and with the way Leon had acted in class, it seemed like he wanted to be more than friends.
As they sat down, Robbie confessed that he got into drama because it allowed him to be someone else. "And I can sing pretty." She laughed with him and they began to eat.
"I know what you mean. Halloween is my all time favorite holiday. It's the one time of the year I can be whoever and whatever I want. One-day a year isn't enough for me though," she explained. "That's what makes drama fanstatic. And just what is so bad about Robbie Piken? I happen like him. He's a great guy," she added with a shy smile.

Robbie smiled at her comment, was he a great guy?"Am I? My dad left when I was two, and he was a pig. And my mom, in her mood swings told me I was just like him. And sometimes I can see that. You don't know the old me, but I'm changing. Slowly but surely." He gave a sad smile and shook it off.
"Leon, just strikes me as trouble. I don't know." He sighed, continued eating. He couldn't help but stare at Gia, she was something completely different.

"I get change. Believe me, I get it," she assured him. Before moving to New York, she was a quiet, mousy little thing that never stood up for herself and never spoke her mind. "As for Leon, if he's trouble, I'll stay away," she assured him. "Of course, if I'm too blonde to notice, I have you around to knock some sense into me," she joked, grinning widely.
Clearing her throat, she leaned on the table and stared at him, "Seriously though, Robbie, you can't be so hard on yourself. Okay, so your dad took off and your mom is sick, but at least you know who they are." She held up her hand to stop him from speaking. "I'm not upset or jealous or bitter -- okay, maybe I am a little bitter -- but my point is that, when it comes to life, you have to learn take the good with the bad, to suck it up and deal with it. I know that's harsh, and it's mean and a little cruel, but it's a fact." Gia smiled softly and stared at Robbie, hoping that he understood her and wouldn't be offended. "You're lucky, Robbie. It may not seem like it right now, but you really are."

Robbie nodded at her words, he understood but it did sting slightly. "I guess I just need a reality check." He shrugged, sitting the samwhich back down. "Maybe I need you around to slap me upside the head whenever I become a bit Eyore like." He grinned broadily, laughing.
"Gia, I-- nevermind." He shrugged. He wouldn't say it. Not this soon. Maybe later but not now.
