Alex had been dancing with a total stranger for about 20 minutes now, so she was a little tired, and needed a drink. She kissed the guy on the cheek, and leaving him standing on the dance floor, she went up to the bar. "Tequila, Mac." Alex said to the bartender, spinning around on the stool and looking out in the crowd, for her next dancing partner.

Nicholas pursed his lips and arched a brow, looking at himself in the mirror. As he examined his appearance, a sly smirk spread over Nicholas's face and he let out a small chuckle as he straightened the collar on his blazer. After he had straightened out his collar, Nicholas ran a hand through his hair a few times in order to give it that perfect messy look. With that, Nicholas decided that he looked absolutely perfect and he turned away from the mirror. Vanity was one of Nicholas's greatest faults and he would often spend at least twenty minutes in front of a mirror, tweaking his appearance before he went out. As he walked past the small, wooden table in his front parlor, Nichols grabbed his wallet and his house keys and his car keys, which was all he would need for his night out. Sure, Nicholas could easily sprint to whatever club he wanted to head to, but driving was so much more fun.
Stepping out on the streets of the Upper East Side, Nicholas jogged up to his black Masarati and slid in. As he tuned the key in the ignition, Nicholas grinned as the engine purred to life. Nicholas was a speed demon and he loved the fact that because he was a vampire, he could maneuver in high speeds in New York City traffic. Once the engine had warmed up, Nicholas put the car into drive and sped down the street. There wasn't much traffic on the Upper East side; it was only when he got to the Upper West that he would have to do some serious maneuvering. Just as soon as he crossed fifth avenus, the traffic increased exponentially and Nicholas smirked as he wove in and out of traffic. If Miranda could see him now, she would have a heart attack. The thought of his now long deceased wife, caused Nicholas to frown and he instantly pushed the thought to the very back of his mind. Nicholas knew that if he sat and thought about Miranda, it would drive him absolutely mad.
Within twenty minutes of leaving his home, Nicholas had parked his car and was now entering through the doors of one of the most famous clubs in Manhattan. As he entered the club, the smell of blood, perfume, and booze filled Nicholas's nose. Though, like most vampires, Nicholas could not stand the taste of human food, he still had a particular liking for alcohol. Deciding that he needed a drink before scoping out either his next meal or the next girl he was going to sleep with, Nicholas headed straight for the bar. Sitting on one of the stools, Nicholas ordered a scotch before leaning against the bar counter and sipping at his drink. As he allowed his eyes to scan the club, they landed on a petite, gorgeous brunette sitting a few stools away from him. A smirk played across Nicholas's lips and he arched a brow. In the back of his mind, Nicholas faintly recalled having seen her around the school. Picking up his scotch, Nicholas wandered over to the wear the girl was sitting and leaned up against the bar next to her. "You wouldn't happen to go to The Parthenon, would you?" Nicholas questioned, arching a brow at the girl. Even if it turned out that he was mistaken, the question was a good conversation starter. "I'm Nicholas." Nick said, introducing himself and extending a withdrawing a hand forward, extending it for a handshake.

"You wouldn't happen to go to The Parthenon, would you?" "I'm Nicholas."
Alex turned her head to the voice at her side and smiled at the guy a little. "Yeah I do go to the Parthenon." She said, looking down at his hand for a moment then back up to his eyes as she shook it. Alex gasped silently. His hand was so cold. Just like Max's hand as it touched her leg, breaking it, ..... Alex closed her eyes for a moment and shook it off. Alot of people had cold skin. "Hi Nicholas, im Alex." She said, smiling flirtatiously at him.
