Gabriel's Apartment in the Bronx
All this past week, Gabe had been cleaning up his apartment to make room for not just one but two roommates. He had to clean out his studio room and his game room so that the roommates could have their own rooms. Money had been tight lately for Gabe since his mother and father cut him off. He was expecting it so it wasn't that big of a surpise. He already got a part-time job but even that wasn't paying all of the bills. He didn't want to move out of his apartment since he wouldn't find any place better in the city. So renting out was his last choice. He posted an ad on craigslist and got two responses. Both of them were from girls which would be different but Gabe did try to think about it. If he kept his head low maybe they wouldn't bother him so much. After some last minute cleaning, Gabe peeked at the time. The girls should be arriving soon. He also checked his phone to see if either one of them had tried to call him or text him. He waited anxiously for the first one to arrive.

It would be a completely new situation for Anna, she'd been by herself most of her life. She had her own apartment penthouse, but for some reason one of her fellow classmates ads for a roomie intrigued her. So she said she would. Not only that he was a human. She hadn't lived with a human since she was human, unless living in the same building counted.
Anna was walking down the street towards the adress, with shaky legs. She was nervous. She came to the building, heading in up the stairs to the said apartment.
She knocked against the door, standing back and smiling with a grimace.

Gabe's head snapped to the door as soon as he heard the knock. Quickly he rushed over and opened the door. A quick breath of air was stuck in his chest as he stared at the girl. She looked like type of girl that went to his school which ment she was lovely. 'Are you here for the roommate ad?" He wanted to make sure that way he wasn't inviting some random person in his apartment. When she answered, he politely invited her in. "Please come in." He motioned her in like a gentleman and closed the door behind her. He wanted to start off on the right foot so he was goin to try not being his scarcastic self. "My name is Gabe and you are? Sorry that I'm asking Im having another roommate as well." As he lead her to the living room/kitchen, he was oddly aware at how much his place looked like a guy's apartment. He was sure that was going to change soon with two girl's living here. The decor was pretty simple. He didn't really know much about how to decorate so he never tried. The apartment was clean in a guy's sense so in reality it wasn't all that clean. He did do the dishes before had so that was done. There was some dust bunnies here and there but mostly in the corners.

Anna smiled politely as she entered, she rolled in her suitcase. "I'm AnnaMaria Damion, you can call me Anna, Ann, Annie, Mary, Maria or anything else you come up with." She surveyed the flat, it was homie surprisingly. It was not to her taste in decore, but she could live with it.
"You go to school with me, right? Gabriel Danvers? I'm really glad you wanted me to live here. Who's the other girl?" She tried not to stare at his neck at all, she could over come that in a few days. Just as long as he didn't mind her crawling back to the apartment late in the evening. And the fact she'd never really be asleep at all.

"I'm AnnaMaria Damion, you can call me Anna, Ann, Annie, Mary, Maria or anything else you come up with. He picked the simplest one; later on he will come up with a more quick witted one. For right now, simple was better if he was going to remember it. "Okay...Ann" He stuck his hands in his pocket as he watched her look around the place. He didn't know what else to do. He never did around new people. You go to school with me, right? Gabriel Danvers? I'm really glad you wanted me to live here. Who's the other girl?" He was kinda surpise that she remembered his name and that they went to school together. Kinda made him feel guilty that he didn't do the same for her. "Ya i go to the Parthenon. Ya no problem. Im glad you could move in on such short notice. It really helps me out." He didn't want to add anything else about his financial situation so he said no more on that. "As for the other girl...i dunno i haven't heard back from her today so Im not sure if she is coming. Here let me show you the two bedrooms to choose from" He walked down the hall where there was three rooms lined up and a bathroom at the very end of the hall. His room was next to the bathroom. The rooms were pretty similar but he would let her pick.

Anna smiled, "Pretty nice place. I wished I had one like this." It was a lie, she had a million dollar penthouse on the East Side. She just wanted to have new experiences.
He led her down the hall to the bedrooms, "Wonder if it will end out just you and me?" That could end up awkward. And dangerous for him. "Hey I'll take this one." She motioned to the one that was next to his. It was nice. Not that she exactly needed one. But it would store some books, a boombox, some entertainment to stay up all night and day.
