Leola finished writing on the board today's assignment. It had to do with inner passions versus how you hide it from the world. She thought about how people would put up masks in order to hide themselves from the world. Leola rubbed her hands together to get the chalk off of them. She turned around as the bell rung. Leaning on her desk, she waited for the students to file in.

Rosalie reluctantly walked into the classroom. Truth be told, she'd rather be a home instead of at school. She looked at the ground when she saw the teacher. Oh goodie, the book store owner. But she did plaster on a smile when she came up to the desk.
" Hi, we've already met. I'm Rosalie Hale." She said politely, then she sat down in her seat, hoping this class would go by quickly.

"Oh hello there Rosalie. Yes I remember you. Too bad you had to run out the other day. I hope it wasn't something I said." Leola smiled at Rosalie as she showed her an empty seat for her to take. "In honor of that Masquerade ball. The assignment is to express a hidden desire. You know something you hide from the rest of the world. You can use any medium you want to express it."

Rosalie looked down at the paper. She figured what did she have to lose. She drew Edward. The day she first saw him. He was supposed to be Esme's brother. She smiled, at it, spending more time on his eyes. The thing that first attracted her to him. She had known he was different, and only after the excruciating pain, did she find out what it was.

Olivia hurried into the art class room, she was running late (late for Olivia is on time for most people). She had her art supplies over flowing in her arms. Once she got to her desk, she dumped them all on top of her desk. It created a large messy pile. She glanced around the classroom and once she caught eyes with Leola, Olivia smiled and gave her favorite teacher a small wave. Though someone else caught her eye as well, Rosalie was sitting a seat away from Olivia. "hey there, Rosalie" She gave the girl a small smile as she started to set up her things on her desk to make it look somewhat organized.

Rosalie laughed at the unorganized mess. She quickly closed her notebook. She wanted to forget about her family for awhile. "Hello Olivia. How are you?" She asked. She kept her smile. Here she didn't feel like being the bitch of the bitches. She wanted to be the innocent person, but at the same time, she still felt a little badass.

Olivia was able to make room for her to set down the parchment paper she was going to draw on. The ink well and brushes were lined up on top of the desk. She wasn't sure what she would draw. A hidden desire? What was Leola thinking? Olivia wanted to draw Nicholas but she would so be made fun of if she did plus what would Nicholas think if he found out he was her hidden desire. "Hello Olivia. How are you?" Olivia shrugged and tried to stop smiling since she was thinking of Nicholas. "Oh I'm fine. How about you? How are you adjusting to the Parthenon? Everything going okay?"

Rosalie groaned. Things were simplier back home. Sometimes I wish that I had died. She said with a sigh. Olivia knew her secret, and the teacher probably wasn't listening anyways. She looked down at Olivia's paper. So, any ideas on what you want to draw? She asked.

Olivia was feeling bad at how upset Rosalie was for being here. She wished she could help out with any problems Rosalie was having while adjusting to the new place. Maybe she could invite her out more with the other girls. She tried to give her an encouraging small smile. "It's okay Rosalie. It'll get better. "
When Rosalie looked down at Olivia's blank paper and asked her what she was planning to draw, her stomach turned some. She didn't want to admit that she was thinking about drawing a boy but all other thoughts of what she should do weren;t coming to mind. Since Rosalie was having a hard time, Olivia thought it might help Rosalie feel more adjusted if she shared with her more sercets. "Well I was thinking of a boy...a new boy actually. His name is Nicholas." She whispered quietly so only Rosalie could hear

Rosalie laughed, after Olivia told her what she was going to draw, Rosalie opened her notebook and showed it to her. This is my creation. Horrible. But I couldn't help myself. She said with a smile.

Sitting alone in the back corner of the room, Gia set to work on the given project. "Express a hidden desire...something you hide from the rest of the world," her teacher had said. Her favorite form of art was carving wood and stone. Unfortunately, there was a lack of those particular materials in the classroom. A loud noise made her look up and she chuckled amusedly, watching the mess the brunette made on her desk. The gorgeous blonde walked over and the two began talking, clearly close friend. "Must be nice," she mumbled. Being the new kid was absolutely no fun. Her sketch pad was already out on her desk, the little case of charcoal pencils from her bag joining it. Opening the book, she set about finding a blank page but paused to stare at the smiling faces of her adoptive parents. She'd taped the photo to the inside cover the book when she first got it, a couple of months ago, before she moved here. Nodding, she knew exactly what to draw.

Olivia looked down at Rosalie's creation and found it very similar to her brother, Edward "It looks kinda like Edward. I like it." She smiled supportively. She wasn't very good at criticing art. She never even liked showing her art to the rest of the class. Public speaking or even public show and tell was just not her thing. As Olivia looked at the picture longer, she found that she didn't know much about the other cullen kids. "You know I hardly know the rest of your brothers and sisters. What are they like?" An image of jacob popped into her head. Defiantely someone she wanted to know more of.

Rosalie laughed and closed the notebook again. That's because it is Edward She said with a smile. Then when she heard Olivia ask about her brothers and sisters she laughed. Well, there's me, Edward, Alice, Jasper, Bella and Renesmee. Um... well Edward was my first brother, He's actually the first one that was in our family. Then it was me, then Emmett, my husband, then Alice and Jasper joined together. Then Edward found Bella, and Bella gave birth to Renesmee. She said. The entire story was probably a lot for Olivia to take.

Leola kept circling around the classroom, just peeking over the shoulders of the students as they worked. Usually she didn't like doing such a thing since when she worked on her art, she hated people looking over her shoulder. Leola liked to keep a relaxed atmosphere in her classroom but lately she noticed students not working at all and so turning in last minute projects. She heard some chatter over at Olivia's desk. She didn't even have to look over to see who was talking. She continued to peek at one student's work as she spoke "Ms. Cullen, Ms. Landon How are your projects coming over there?" She knew she didn't have to worry about them not getting their projects done but if she was going to give other people a hard time for not doing their work during class then she would have to give everyone a hard time; it was only fair.
Walking toward the back of the classroom, Leola noticed another new student among them, Gia. "Hello there, I'm Miss Owens. I don't believe we have met. Are you Gia?" Leola remembed the name on the role sheet but she couldn't match a face to it.

"Hello there, I'm Miss Owens. I don't believe we have met. Are you Gia?"
Looking up, Gia saw the teacher kindly staring down at her. Nodding, she smiled and answered, "Yeah, that's me." Clutching the sketchpad close enough to hid her work but not to ruin it, Gia hoped the teacher would go back to circling the room. She loved art, she did, it was the criticism she sometimes had trouble with. Hiding in the back corner of the room was supposed to help with that.
Apparently not.
