Nicholas followed Olivia on the tour that she was giving him and took in the sight of the school. Now that Nicholas wasn't as ticked off about the fact that he had to attend some stupid human high school, he could actually appreciate the beauty of the school. Arching a brow, Nicholas nodded when Olivia mentioned the main entrance. The building definitely had a very old-world feel and Nicholas was grateful for that. The fact that it wasn't some modern, urban, new age school made Nicholas feel a lot more comfortable in the environment. Had the witches gone to some hippie arts school, Nicholas would have had to pull his hair our in desperation. At least this school had some class. "This used to be someone's home, really?" Nicholas questioned, arching a brow. "Interesting." He mused, pressing his lips thinly together. "You wouldn't happen to know whose home it used to be, do you?" Nicholas questioned, turning his head so that he was looking at Olivia. As he looked at Olivia, Nicholas gave her a small, friendly smile before turning back to look at the building. Nicholas, throughout his entire life, had been a huge history buff and little details like this were very interesting to him.
Hearing that Olivia was a Junior, Nicholas nodded his head. "I'm a Senior myself." Nicholas replied as they began to walk along once more. "Does that mean that I won't be seeing you around in any of my classes?" Nicholas questioned, arching a brow as he smiled at Olivia, "For I have to say that, that would be a pity." He added. In the back of his mind, Nicholas couldn't help but wonder how long it would take to get this girl visibly flustered.
As Olivia asked him what electives he was taking, Nicholas smirked and chuckled to himself. for someone who wasn't actually in need of an education at The Parthenon, Nicholas had surely loaded up on his A.P classes and his electives. When he had done that, Nicholas's logic had been that as long as he had to go to school and suffer through all of the teenage mood swings and gossip, he might as well be intellectually stimulated to a certain degree. "I'm taking British Literature, Comparative Government, American Foreign Policy, and Geopolitics." Nicholas replied, rattling off all of the electives he had signed up for. Nicholas smirked and looked at Olivia out of the corners of his eyes and laughed, "As may now be evident, I'm a bit of a History and Humanities nerd."

"You wouldn't happen to know whose home it used to be, do you?" Olivia smiled as she continued to lead him through the school's hallway. She felt a little bit like a tour guide but she was happy to share her findings on the school's history. "I actually did do some research on the building. The land was purchased in 1898 by Aurora Darling. Apparently she was a glamourous woman in New York back then. Too bad she didn't stick around that long to enjoy the building. The records showed she was only around for maybe ten years at the most. She did have some great tastes in architecture. Though the interesting part of her story is that no one really knew where she went. Her records just cut off." Olivia continued the tour with something him some of the basic classrooms like for math and the biology lab. "I'm a Senior myself. Does that mean that I won't be seeing you around in any of my classes?" "We could have one of two classes together plus we will see each other for lunch." She was quite surprised to see him so interested in her classes. Though a part of her wondered if this wasn't real. Most guys never payed her this much attention before. "For I have to say that, that would be a pity." Olivia looked up at his eyes and she tilted her head to the side as if trying to read him now. "Why would that be?" Now she just wanted to hear exactly where he was going with this.
I'm taking British Literature, Comparative Government, American Foreign Policy, and Geopolitics." Each elective was like a hit in her stomach. She was only taking one of those courses. "At least I'll see you in British Lit but for the rest of my electives, I'm mostly in the arts; Painting, Photography, and Drama" She chuckled at his nerd joke.
OOC: On a side note Aurora is a vampire character i made for another twilight site. I might bring her in here.

Nicholas listened with genuine interest as Olivia told him who the owner of the building had been. Both of Nicholas's brows shot up in surprise as Olivia said that a woman by the name of Aurora Darling had owned the building. In order to supress the smirk that was now desperately tugging at the corners of Nicholas's lips, Nicholas pursed his lips together and frowned lightly, nodding his head. "I think I've read a bit about her." Nicholas replied, doing his best to stop from smirking. The truth was that Nicholas had done far more than read about Aurora Darling. Though he didn't know her very well on a personal level, Aurora Darling and Nicholas had traveled in the same upper circles of New York society those many years ago. That had been before Nicholas had joined up with his new coven.
Nicholas chuckled lightly, "Well, I mean, why wouldn't it be a pity?" Nicholas questioned, looking at Olivia out of the corners of his eyes and arching a brow. "The first person that I meet here just so happens to be a nice, pretty girl, and we barely have any classes together? Now tell me, where is the justice in that?" He replied, a light smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. Nicholas slowly replaced his smirk with what he deemed to look like a genuine smile.
Hearing that Olivia also had British Literature, Nicholas smiled at her and nodded his head. "Excellent. At least there will be one class where I'm the weird new kid sitting by himself in the corner." He said, joking, as a laugh escaped his lips. "You're an artist? Really? I'm rather impressed. That stuff takes actual talent, while, what I'm good at just requires you to stuff your nose into a bunch of old books." Over the years, Nicholas had honed his skills of flattery and he could now spit out compliments at the drop of the hat. Regardless of whether or not he really meant them or not. "Which of those three, painting, photography, and drama, is your favorite?" He asked.

"The first person that I meet here just so happens to be a nice, pretty girl, and we barely have any classes together? Now tell me, where is the justice in that?" Olivia grinned and lowered her head a bit as if she was embarrassed for him to see the red in her cheeks. Her hair fell on her face to hide it from him. Olivia had to admit that Nicholas was a great flirt. He could make any girl feel like she was on top of the world. "Oh there are plenty of nice girls around here. I'm sure you wont have any problems finding them." Deep down Olivia knew there weren't that many girls, though there were a lot girls who could act nice just to get the guy they wanted. "Excellent. At least there will be one class where I'm the weird new kid sitting by himself in the corner." Olivia couldn't help but look up at him then. His laughter was just so musical and sweet to the ears. It caused Olivia to smile and laugh with him. She tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear just so she could do something with her hands. "Ya I'm glad we share a class together. I promise to sit with you in the corner." She wondered if that sounded as corny as she thought it did.
"You're an artist? Really? I'm rather impressed. That stuff takes actual talent, while, what I'm good at just requires you to stuff your nose into a bunch of old books." Olivia shook her head. She always got very embarrassed and modest when people talked about her being an artist. She just never thought of herself as an "artist" just someone who really enjoys art. "No I think your field requires much more than just "sticking your nose into a bunch of old books", if it was just that then there would be more people in that field. It requires a high level of intelligence for those fields." Olivia paused for a moment by the library and decided to show him where most of the 'old books" were. She opened the double glass doubles to the library. The room was empty since most of the students were still just entering the school. Olivia closed the doors behind them which closed out all the noise coming from the halls. The room was silent. The library had two levels and a spiral staircase to lead up to the second floor balcony. There were plenty of bookshelves where people could hide out in. She turned to Nicholas "So this is the library. I think some of your classes are in here."

Nicholas smiled lightly as Olivia looked down towards the ground. Though her face was now hidden by her bangs, Nicholas could hear her heart rate increase ever so slightly as blood flooded her cheeks. Inwardly, Nicholas couldn’t help but smirk. Though at first he had been totally against the idea of getting information on the witches through this manner, he now understood why he had been the one to get the assignment. After all, Nicholas had a way of flirting with women that the other members of the coven hadn’t all quite mastered yet. There were times that Nicholas would feel guilty about the fact that he, on a regular basis, would flirt with women, get whatever he could from them and then leave them in the dust. However, whenever that feeling came up, Nicholas would remember how Miranda had been taken from him and any sort of remorse would instantly disappear. It was a rather vicious cycle, but for not at least, Nicholas didn’t see a way out. Nicholas chuckled, “We’ll just see about that.” He mused, not wanting to get too intense on the flirting right away. From what of Olivia’s actions he had observed so far, Nicholas knew not to push it too fast too quickly.
Nicholas grinned and nodded his head, plastering a smug smirk onto his face. “Excellent. At least I’ll have one friend then!” He exclaimed, the smirk gone as he let out a laugh. The idea of Nicholas not having any friends was actually preposterous in his mind but he decided that he would at least try and play the part of the nervous new student. Maybe later, after a week or so, he’d allow himself to act just a bit more like the confident, somewhat arrogant person that he was really was. For now though, Nicholas thought it was better to play it safe and scope out his surroundings.
Nicholas shrugged his shoulders, “See, my reasoning for that is that a lot of people are just too lazy to stick their noses in books all the time. Either that or they’re easily bored by that stuff, or…” Nicholas paused and grinned for a sort of comic effect, “They have lives.” He said, poking fun at himself as he let out a small laugh. "Though, I do have to say thank you for the embedded compliment to my intelligence." In the back of his mind, Nicholas couldn’t help but note the fact that he was somewhat surprised at the fact that he was so easily joking with Olivia and poking fun of himself with her. Usually, Nicholas was too arrogant to do such things. Even when he was acting and putting on a different personality. Quickly, Nicholas brushed off the thought as something to think about later.
As they entered the library, Nicholas’ eyes instantly lit up and opened wide. This, unlike most of his previous actions however, was completely genuine. Nicholas had always been a huge fan of learning and he had always craved more knowledge. Especially when it came to historical events and their analysis. Nicholas walked a bit ahead of Olivia unintentionally, running his hands over some of the books, picking them up, skimming them and then putting them back. Nicholas smiled upon hearing that some of his classes would be in here. ”Fantastic.” He said, smiling genuinely as he looked at Olivia.

As the two of them walked through the library, Olivia couldn't help but be fascinated by Nicholas' actions. He seemed like a little kid at the toy store. Olivia just watched as he ran his finger along the spines of the books. He just couldn't help but try and take in all of the books. This made Olivia smile, she was happy to have found something that meant so much to Nicholas. "You know one of the teachers here owns a book store in Soho. Her name is Ms. Owens. She teaches art. She likes to donate rare books to the school's library. She likes to collect rare books. You should talk to her some time. " Olivia had spent a great deal of time hanging out with Ms. Owens since she was the art teacher but also because she use to run her own coven of witches. Ms. Owens seem to be the girls' mentor on all things wiccan. Olivia continued walking just behind Nicholas as they went through the library. She wasn't sure when the bell would ring next, she hoped it wouldn't be any time soon.

As Nicholas ran his hands over the books, he was vaguely aware of the fact that Olivia was observing his actions. However, despite the fact that he realized this, Nicholas merely continued on with his actions. Though Nicholas would usually put up a complete front of being a cool, collected and rather disinterested womanizer, the one situation in which he would show his true colors would be when around anything academic. Nicholas was a huge history and political science nerd and quite frankly, he wasn't afraid of people knowing that odd tidbit about him. After all, if anyone so much as said anything obnoxious about that fact, he could most likely tear them the shreds in an instant. As he picked up a particularly old book, Nicholas heard Olivia speaking to him and he instantly turned his head in her direction in order to give her his full attention.
A small smile came over Nicholas's face as he heard what Olivia had to say. "That actually sounds great, thanks." Nicholas replied, his grin growing as he nodded his head in thanks. Nicholas turned his attention away from Olivia for a moment so that he could place the old book back onto its shelf. Nicholas took a step back from the bookcase he had been rummaging through and sighed in a content manner. Stuffing his hands into his pockets, Nicholas tilted his head back and looked up at the large bookcases. Despite himself, Nicholas grinned and he could imagine that having access to this library was going to be one of the pluses of having to attend high school.
After a moment or two of looking up at the bookcase, Nicholas turned his head back towards Olivia and grinned at her. "Well, now that you've managed to discover my nerdy secret, I do ask that you keep quite. I don't want my reputation to be ruined before I even have time to build it." Nicholas said, a joking tone in his voice as he smiled at Olivia. Nicholas let out a light laugh and took his right hand out of his pocket, running it through his hair before putting it right back into his pocket. "As much as I would love to rummage around in here all day, I'm sure you're idea of what you would like to do before class does not involve watching some random kid walk around the library." Nicholas chuckled, turning his entire body towards Olivia, "That being said, is there anything else in the school you'd like to show me or anything you'd like to do before class?" Nicholas questioned, arching a brow at Olivia.

Olivia lean lightly on the bookshelf next to her as Nicholas paused to pick up an old book from the shelf. While his attention was taken by the book for a moment, Olivia got the chance to study him some more. His features were so irresistible. Every chiseled angle of his body seemed to have been handcrafted by Michelangelo. There was definitely something about Nicholas that got Olivia hook on him. It was probably the mischievous gleam in his eyes. As he turned to face her, Olivia leaned away from the book shelf. She wasn't hiding the fact that she had been staring at him for a while. She figured he probably got that a lot from other girls so he must be use to it by now. "Well, now that you've managed to discover my nerdy secret, I do ask that you keep quite. I don't want my reputation to be ruined before I even have time to build it." Olivia chuckled to think he was worried that other people would know he liked to be in a scholarly environment.
"Ok I promise not to tell a soul. Cross my heart and hope to die." She made a gesture over her heart.
"As much as I would love to rummage around in here all day, I'm sure you're idea of what you would like to do before class does not involve watching some random kid walk around the library." She nodded her head in agreement. Right before school, she wouldn't normally be in the library unless she wanted to get away from the other students. But today, hanging out in the library was at the top of her list of things she wanted to do, all in thanks to guy standing in front of her.
"That being said, is there anything else in the school you'd like to show me or anything you'd like to do before class?" Olivia could think of 101 things she wanted to do with Nicholas, most of which she was too embarrassed to say out loud. She tried to think of the most innocent of things, but her mind went blank.
"Well...I can show you were most kids go to hang out which is the school boiler room. But it's not exactly my most favorite place to go. A few of us know know the attic." She said the last part in a whisper. She motioned Nicholas to follow her out of the library.
As they entered the hallway, even more kids had filed into the halls to get started before class. Most of them were chattering with each other to even notice Olivia and Nicholas walking up the stairs to the third floor. The noise level on the third floor was drastically different from the other floors.
"Up here is mostly professors' offices and the senior lounge." Olivia told Nicholas to let him know why it was so much quieter up here than downstairs. Most of the professors had left their offices to get downstairs to their classrooms. The few that were still up here were waiting for their coffees to take effect. As the two heading down toward the end of the hall, Olivia stopped and looked up at the ceiling. There was a tile that was discolored from the rest. As Olivia looked closer, it appeared that the staff had patched up the attic opening. Olivia wasn't about to be made a fool of in front of Nicolas. Looking around her, Olivia got a chair by an office door and moved it under the discolored patch. She stepped onto the chair and got on her tipy toes. She had great balance as she reached up toward the discolored tile. Her hand was still a good 12 inches away from it. Olivia concentrated on the tile. Every thought in her mind willed it to open. Within seconds, the tile started to move as if the plaster that held it closed was crumpling apart. Slowly the tile opened and swung down until Olivia was able to get a hold of it. With a smug smile, she opened the rest of the entrance and the stair ladder that followed. She hoped down from the chair to lower it completely.
She turned back to Nicholas with the smile still on her face. "I present to you a nice little secret of the Parthenon" She lead the way up the old wooden stairs to the attic. After Nicholas climbed up, she brought the stairs and the entrance back up. A layer of dust lined most of the things in the attic expect for areas where Olivia cleaned up to hang out in. The only source of light was through a round dirty window up high. Through the dim sunlight, the dust hung in the air. The whole place was a vault for antiques that did fit anywhere else in the school. Olivia was trying to go through most of things just to see what was up here. She found a lot of interesting artifacts from all over the world. Olivia watched to see how Nicholas would react to such a place.

As Olivia promised to not go around spreading his nerdy little secret, Nicholas nodded his head in satisfaction and smiled at her. "Excellent. Thank you." He replied, a smirk twitching at the very corners of his lips. Nicholas had always been the type of man who worried about keeping up his appearances, and quite frankly, he figured that a large part of that came from the fact that he had been born into an aristocratic family and had subsequently lived the entirety of his human life at British court. Nicholas turned away from the bookshelf and leaned his back against the shelf, waiting to hear what Olivia had in store for them. In the back of his mind, Nicholas made a mental note to return to the library as soon as the day was done with.
As soon as Nicholas heard that Olivia was going to lead him up into the attic, Nicholas arched a brow in curiosity and nodded his head. "Sounds good to me." He replied to show his agreement. Small, cramped spaces were Nicholas's specialty and he figured that knowing one such small place would be good for when he would want to get away from all of the annoying human high school students. That and, knowing the way to attic would probably be good for when he wanted to have a quick make-out session with some girl during his lunch break. While most people might now have immediately thought of finding a good place to make-out upon arriving at a new school, that was merely how Nicholas's mind worked.
As they reached the third floor, a small smile came over Nicholas's face. It was much quieter on the third floor and he happened to enjoy the reduced noise level. Though Nicholas had a passion for partying, he was still, at heart a homebody and always enjoyed being in quite places with a good book. Nicholas watched as Olivia climbed up onto a chair and began to look up at the tiles on the ceiling. As Olivia extended her hand forward, Nicholas watched as the tile seemingly crumbled away. Nicholas's eyes opened wide and he arched a brow in curiosity. However, despite his urge to make some sort of exclamation, Nicholas pressed his lips thinly together. After all, despite the fact that he was shocked, he had known that the girls were witches and he was not going to let on.
"Well, aren't I special." Nicholas joked, letting a laugh escape him as Olivia told him that she was presenting a secret to him. Climbing up into the attic after Olivia, Nicholas looked around curiously. In the back of his mind, he couldn't help but feel that he was quite lucky that he didn't have to breath in all of the dust. Standing up in the small, cramped space, Nicholas began to rummage about. "Do you come here often?" Nicholas questioned in order to make conversation. Bending down, Nicholas squatted and pulled a box closer to his body as he looked through it. Much to his surprise, Nicholas found himself looking at some rather expensive antiques. "I can't believe they keep these things up here." Nicholas muttered as he pulled a small, china statue out of one of the boxes. Because he had been born into royalty and because he had lived for such a long time, Nicholas had a real appreciation for antiques and could tell that quite a lof of the things in the attic were very valuable. "How'd you find this place anyway?" Nicholas questioned.
