Brooke closed the door to there apartment, locking it tight as she went by. She knew she should be in school, but honestly, if she had to listen to her math teacher go on one more time about how important 'numbers really are' she would have to murder him.
She pulled her ipod from her pocket as she walked to the elevator, letting an old lady with a tiny dog off before she boarded. When she got to the lobby, she walked over to Jimmie, the door man, handing him a sandwich and a water bottle. "Thank you, Ms. Mcalister." The kind old man said, smiling widley. "No problem Jimmie. Tristan was on teh corner today, sitting with his guitar, playing some random songs. He had been playing the guitar for a few years, and every once in a while when he didnt feel like staying in school, he would coe and play in random places in teh city. Today for some reason, he picked this street corner.

As she walked down the street, Brooke noticed a boy she had seen in school before. She knew it was him because it wasn't a face one was likely to forget. She smiled as he sang and strummed on the guitar in his lap.
She pulled her headphones out, and listened more, until he finsished his song. He wasn't even looking at her, so, she began to clap, and said "That was really pretty."

Tristan looked at the girl in front of him. she was clapping.
"ah, thanks, I play when im not running from the world," He cracked a smile. He looked at her outfit. "I like your shoes, but how are they not shoes, and yet shoes?" He said, wondering what he just said, probably as well as teh girl. She was familiar. He knew where he knew her. From school.
"So you go to my school?" He asked her even though he kne the answer."Why arent you there now?" He smiled, and put his guitar back into the case.
"Im Tristan," HE said getting up and offering her his hand to shake.

"I could ask you the same thing." She said, implying about school. "And as for my shoes, I just thought they were cute. But there may be some simblisim there somewhere." She added, sitting down in front of him.
She was looking at his guitar, the beautiful detail in the carved wood as he introduced himself. "Hi. I'm Brooke. yeah we go to the same school, but I'm new, so I haven't really met anyone."

"You just did," He said, winking at her. He was meeting all these peopl enow, he didnt know why he was, or why all of them were girls, but he didnt care. Natalie, Alex, Brianna and now Brooke. It was going to be interesting.
"Where did you move from?" He asked, sitting on teh ground again, where he was. "And how do you like New York so far?" he said spreading his arms like wings, and looking around, then back at her.

"I actually just moved from the mountains." Brooke smiled, looking up at him. "I miss it alot, but We're, meaning my dad and grandma, decided it would be better for me to be here, as far away from....just it be better if I was here." She stood up, and smiled at him. "Want a cup of coffee?"

He smiled at her. "The mountains eh?" Then sh egot up and asked if he wanted a cup of coffee. HE looked around, not many peopl woudl be by here today, so he coudlnt sing for them, he got up and streatched.
"Sure, why not, Ive been sitting here for a while, where to?" HE asked bending over to grab his case, then he put it in his limo. "Moseby, take it home please, I guess im dotn for the day," HE said remembering when him a Natalie came to central park. He would have to tak eher to sing with him sometime.

"There's a starbucks just around the corner." She smiled, laughing a little. Because for her just around the corner was twelve blocks. "C'mon. Lets go." She grabbed his hand and drug him around the corner, laughing loduly.

He wondered why she was laughing, and just decided to go with it.
She took him by the wrist and drug him along after him.
"Just around teh corner eh?" He said after a few blokes of being drug. He had a feeling that his girl was not going to end up like Brianna, Natalie or Alex. He got teh feeling that she wouldnt like him. He didnt have to worry about impressing her like other girls, he cousl just be himself now. He didnt know why he go that feeling, but he liked it.

Tristan definitly knew that she was going to be fun to hang out with. When she asked him what he wanted, he simply shrugged, looking at teh menue.
"Ah, order for me, Im never good at coffee decisions," He said forwning a little "I dont really care what I get, suprise me," He added and msiled at her.

She walked into the shop and came outside a few moments later holding two iced lattes. "These are my favorite. I live on them for the most part." She laughed handing it to Tristan, looking around the city scape quickly. "So what brings you to the city?"

He sucked down a cold drink of coffee. It was good.
"Meh, getting away from school, being free from peoples expectations, and away from what people see of me." He said, looking out at the city. "I play my guitar, if I get any money, I give it poor people, I have enough,"
"What are you doin down here?"
