I don't know if I'm going to write this one or not but I've had an idea for an orginial story. Now I am definitely planning on doing a trailer for this idea though Im still trying to find some good movies to use for clips. If you have any suggestions for casting or movies let me know.
The story starts off in another world. It is a world that is home to supernaturals (vampires, werewolves, elementals). The supernaturals closed off their world after many battles with the morals. There was only one door left between worlds but it has been closed off for centuries.The setting would be at an academy (very similar to the one in the Vampire Academy books). At this academy there are two types of students, the guardians/warriors and then the elementals. The elementals tend to be from royal families. The main character is this girl who is part of the elemental group of students ( i haven't thought of names but characters from the supernatural world tend to have more old fashioned names). The girl's father is a politician and fairly well off. Her mother died when she was young and so its just her and her father. At school the girl is picked on and doesn't really have any friends. As the other students in her class start getting elements, she has yet to get one. People think that is because she is not talented.
When it comes to her sixth year at the academy, everyone is assigned a guardian. Now Im thinking this will be a special ceremony/ritual. Everyone is shocked that the guardian picked for her is the head of the class in the guardian class. The guy (the guardian) is shocked as well. No one understands why she would need someone as talented as him to be her guardian (since no one thinks she is special). Even while he is "protecting" her, he acts like a jerk because he would rather be protecting someone who is more high profile.
As time goes on her father and a family friend (also a professor at the academy) warn her of an upcoming danger that their world must face. They tell her that she will have to go into hiding into the other world (our world). She was suppose to tell her guardian this but since she doesn't like him let alone trust him, she does not tell him anything of this. She doesn't tell any one else this since she doesn't feel close to anyone that would care.
When a battle breaks out in the academy, she rushes to the ancient stone door between the two worlds and opens it. When she climbs the steps up to our world, her eyes look up into the sun and her mind is instantly erased of any knowledge of the supernatural world. You see the professor didn't have a chance to warn her of this. When a supernatural enters our world for the first time, they have to wear something to protect their eyes until their eyes get adjusted to the strong rays of the sun or else their memory would be erased.
Back in the supernatural world, the academy is picking up the pieces from the attack. The girl's father and professor know she is safe but they say she was a casuality of the attack. Her guardian doesn't want to believe he failed. His bond with her doesn't read that she is dead but its signal is quite confusing to him. He feels guilty for the way he acted toward her.
As time goes on, the enemy grows stronger and the end of their growth is nowhere in sight. The girl's father and the professor feel like it is time for the guardian to bring back the girl. Though when they confront him with the request, the guardian has no idea what they are talking about. It is then that the father and professor realize the girl didn't tell her guardian anything. They fill in the guardian that even though the girl didn't show any signs of an element, she actually has influence over all of the elements, she acts as a binding agent for all of the elements (kinda like a fifth element ). She would be a secret weapon for their side of the war. The guardian builds up a team (the team consists of people that were once picking on her at the academy; both guardians and elementals). The guardian and his team reach the other world (with the right protection so they wouldn't lose their memories).
Within the few months the girl has been in this world, she has been adopted and given a new name, a new life. She started high school and has a great group of friends that are there for her. She is more confident than ever. She is happy for once.
