And Right Now I Want That Car!
It was 2 a.m on a Sunday morning. Brianna had spent most of her Saturday night at the Element Night club in the heart of Manhattan. Now that it was closing time, she had nowhere else to go. Ofcourse, she had been drinking so her walk was a bit lop-sided. Her heels clicked against the pavement as she decided to take a walk back to her penthouse. She had tried a cab but the cab driver kicked her out since she was yelling at him. It wasn't exactly her night, or her week. She was bored and slightly drunk; the combination of the two wasn't going to end well.
The sidewalk was completely empty. Any normal girl would be terrifed since it was eerky quite. Most girls would be afraid that they would get mugged but Brianna didn't care. It helped to be a witch. Forget pepper stray when you have control over the weather.
As Brianna turned the corner and started down the block, one of the store windows caught her attention. It was for a vintage car dealership. The large window showcased a 1967 Ford Mustang Shebly; black with two white racing stripes down the center. The lighting on it made it shine. Brianna's eyes grew double the size as she stared at it. Brianna was always an impluse buyer. Whenever she found something shiny and pretty, she wanted it. It was probably the alchoal that made her want the car right this second. She was always impatience as it is and when she was drunk it got even worst.
Her eyes darted it back and forth as she scanned the empty sidewalk. Using her sensing abilities, Brianna used a net to fan out around her to sense if there was anyone around, but there was none. It was too perfect. She could of waited until the dealership opened in the morning, but who had time for that?
Brianna looked up to the sky and summed a storm. She only wanted the lighting. Lighting bolts blazed through the newly formed clouds up ahead. Brianna lifted her hand and directed it toward a power generator. A strong bolt came down from the sky and slammed into the metal generator. The power on the block flickered and then finally died. Brianna lifted her hand and touched it to the glass of the store window. Within seconds, a thick ice spread through the glass. The ice weakened the glass to the point that brianna was able to tap the glass and it shattered to pieces. Brianna grinned smugly "Perfect". She stepped into the store through the broken window.
No alarm sounded, thanks to the power outage. Brianna had clearly watched too many robbery movies to know what happens. She stepped over to the car. Broken glass crunching underneath each step. She opened the car and quickly got in. She wasn't sure how long the power would be out for. She looked around for the key. Unable to find it, she pressed her finger to the key hole and a shot of electricity came out of her finger tip to power the car. The car roared to life.
The only light on the block came from the head lights of the mustang as Brianna flew out of the store through the window. The car's engine rumbled through the silence of the street. Brianna was speeding like a bat out of hell. She shouted as adrenline pumped through her body. The windows were down and the wind was swepting through her hair. She blasted the radio as she sped down the Manhattan streets. She pulled out her cell phone and started calling all of her friends and tell them the same thing "Who wants to party??!?!?"
