....I am Finding, Thats not the way I want my story to End....
....I'm Safe up high. Nothing can touch me....
----
Lilly was sitting up in her room, trying to to see that scene play in her head, over and over again. Ben, he was dead, and she saw it happen, she was there when he died. The only other person she could think of who had taken this harder had been Alex, but she was showing it in a different way, by being....bad. Lilly didnt discriminate against her. She didnt really care honestly.
She couldnt stand being in the room anymore, and wanted to get out. Even if it was down to the hotel bar.
She rode in the Elevator, one of the guys checking her out. She had done her make-up, and hair machaincally, she didnt want to look like a haggard crazy kid off the street, she needed to look like she belonged in the bar, and wouldnt get questioned by anyone. She walked out, her shoes making the noise they allways did against the lobby floor.
Her skirt was again, short because of the house keeper for the hotel didnt know how to do laundry, but she didnt care. All that she wanted to do was get a drink. She sat on one of the stools in the bar, the bartender smiling at her. She crossed her legs.
She ordered a random drink, and downed it, ordering another, this one going down alot slower than the first.

Robbie entered the bar, he was bored and had been just wandering down the street. He had had a fight with his mom, even though they almost never fought. They seemed be having fights more often. He strode in with the air like he owned the joint, which was far from it. He looked pretty unkempt, his hair was a bit wild, of course he wore ripped jeans, and a jean jacket. What he had on at school.
He walked towards the bar, sitting down and ordering a martini, he looked old enough to drink. He looked around the bar, and noticed a pretty blonde girl, a couple people down. She seemed like someone from school.
"Hey Jack, order her a fruitni, would you? Tell her I sent it." And the bartender set off with the fruitty cocktail.

Lilly sat there, she hadnt been paying attention to anyone or anything, so when the bartender gave her a drink, and pointed out who sent it to her, She was wondering why anyone would send her a drink really, she decided to go find out.
She got up from her stool, straightening out her skirt with one hand, and the drink in the other. She made it look as if she wasnt though. She walked over to where the guy sat.
"Thanks for the drink," She said standing there, the motioning tword the seat next to him. "This seat taken?".

Robbie smiled as he saw from the corner of his eye, the blonde rise and move towards him. When she came to the seat beside him, he turned pretending to be surprised. "Thanks for this drink. Is this seat taken?"
He smiled kindly,"Nope, just by the imaginary person you'll be sitting on." He laughed, nodding for her to sit. "You look troubled, are you okay?"
Robbie knew full well, he probably looked the same. Disheaveled, and tired. Looking older than he really was. "Do you go to the Parthenon? You look familiar, or you're the pretty type of girl that just looks awfully familiar."

"Nope, just by the imaginary person you'll be sitting on." She sat down, somewhat smiling at his joke. She hadnt really smiled since she had seen Ben die. She knew she wasnt all that close to him, but still. "You look troubled, are you okay?"
"Yah, just alot happening the past week," She said sipping on her drink.
"Do you go to the Parthenon? You look familiar, or you're the pretty type of girl that just looks awfully familiar."
She let out a laugh, and a smile was back on her face.
"I actually do go to the Parthenon, I just got back from a vacation, You look a little familiar too, allthough I admit I havnt been there long," She held the small smile on her face. This was just what she needed, a distraction from what had happened.

"And where did you go for vacation? Somewhere better than this hell hole of a city?" He smiled sipping his drink and then ordering and ale. He hated drinking, he wasn't one to do it, but this week had been hard and he decided it was fit to do.
He gave her a sympathetic smile, "I'm sorry you've had a bad week."
"Yeah, so I've unfortunatly gone to Parthenon my whole life. So you're lucky." He smiled, she was pretty hot. He couldn't believe he hadn't seen her at the school. "I think you're in my english class with me. Mr. Demonte's?"

"And where did you go for vacation? Somewhere better than this hell hole of a city?" . She thought for a moment.
"Back up to Alaska actually," She said smiling at the fun she had, and the trouble she had gotten into up there. Her dad didnt even know she went. And she was there for a week.
"Yep, Mr.D-creepy," She said then laughed. He was allways staring at the girls in his class. Specially the Anna somthing girl, and Callie. "And its fine, Im not a big drinker myself either, this last week had been hard on me as well,"
She sat there, twisting a lock of hair between her fingers.
"So, Im Lilly Van Allen, I dont think we exchanged names," She said feeling like an idiot.

Alaska? "Alaska ay? Well that's probably ten times better than here. I'd say any where is."
He sipped his ale, even though he wanted to down it. He closed his eyes for a moment and swished the ale in his mouth. He turned back to look at her, she was pretty hot. "Lily Van Allen, I'm Robbie Piken"

"Its nice up there, the weather, the people, the parties," She sighed, she missed alaska. "Anyways, So," she didnt know quite what to say. He seemed to have a way about him. His unkempt clothing and hair made you want to get to know him, and look at him more than anything. And his eyes, they conveyed what he was thinking, and had depth to them.
"So, Robbie Pikin, what do you like to do, other than go to hotel bars?" She said laughing a little bit. She was actually having a little fun, and her mind was off of everything.

"Well Lily Van Allen, I like to play guitar, and chat up pretty ladies." He grinned and motioned to her, she was pretty gorgeous. Her hair almost begged to have his fingers run through it. "Other than that just making me sound like a loser, and a really bad pick up line, I write songs and lyrics. I'm acctually quite the poet."
He mused for a moment, staring at his half empty ale glass. "The day seemed to be bad, I was feeling so low, so terribly sad. Nothing to do, nowhere to be. I sat in the bar, and what do I see? A pretty blonde girl, a sad face like me. I sent her a drink, she came up to me. And now I'm sitting, feeling a whole happpier, er is this song gonna get any sappier?" He laughed, a gentle laugh with a goofy grin. "Just a little taste of what I can do." Robbie gave Lily a wink, with a smirky grin.

"That was actually sweet, yet Sappy." She said still smiling at him. " Well, Robbie Pickin, I sing, dont play a guitar, and like wearing weird clothes,"
She got more comfertable around him. " Theres nothing really special about me," She said looking away, then back.

He gave a mock look of surprise, "Nothing special? Nothing special? Who's been feeding you that lie. I can tell you one thing that makes you special, right now. You're Lily Van Allen, I've never met a Lily Van Allen before. Never seen another girl who looks as gorgeous as you before. You see you're a one of a kind van Gogh." He grinned and gave her a play punch in the shoulder, and then he brushed a strand of her hair from infront of her shoulder.
He stopped, starring back at the bartender. "Give me a virgin drink, anything. I don't wanna get completely tipsy on Ms. Van Allen."

She smiled wider. "Oh your lying," she gasped and playfully slapped his upper arm. When she heard him order somthing non-alcaholic, she was truely impressed. The last guy that said he wasnt going to drink for her, he lied.
"So, Tell me, do you use lines like this to pick up girls, or am I just lucky to be in this bar, meeting you?"

"So, Tell me, do you use lines like this to pick up girls, or am I just lucky to be in this bar, meeting you?"
Robbbie smirked as he turned back to face her." Well if I'm in a club hooking up usually the girls are all over me and don't need a pick-up line . So, not usually. I have though. But the ones I've said to you, I've been serious. They were unintentinal - intentinal flirty sentences."
He grinned hoping that sentence didn't make him into a dog. He wasn't know matter how many girls he "dated" and screwed, he didn't mean to be that way. He was just looking for his girl. The one he could lose himself completely in and not have to find himself before leaving in the morning.
'You can pretend they were pick-up lines if you want to be picked up."

She smiled a bit at the first thing he said. So, he was one fo those guys that hooked up with girls on end. But then he said he was unintentualy, intentualy fliting with her? She laughed a little.
"Its okay, Dont worry, I've met some guys who've told me worse," She said smiling at him.
"You can pretend they were pick-up lines if you want to be picked up."
She looked thoughtfull for a moment.
"Im not looking to be picked up the way your thinking Mr. Robbie Pikin," She said smiling at him, her eyes showing more smiling than her lips were. "But, I cant see the future, can I?"
