When she kissed his cheek, he was caught off gaurd. In a good way. It made him feel a little less cheesey. Not much. But some.
One good thing with New York, is everything is so close by." He commented before he felt her head rest against his back. Sending a shiver up his back. Was it possible to feel completely right with a person, but feel so unsure.
He'd been with a lot of girls. Some had been "relationships" that lasted hours and maybe a week if they were lucky. But both parties had been in it for one thing. Sex. And he wanted to change, he did. But it was still hard. He had been drunk silly about four nights back at a bar, despite promising himself that he'd not drink anything but virgin drinks. And he ended up in a rich girl's penthouse in the early hours of the morning. With not one but two girls.
He shook the thoughts out of his mind. He was going to change. If it killed him.

The hospital came into view and Robbie turned into the parking lot. "So, what floor is your mom on?" she asked as she got off the bike. Hands in her back pockets, she gave Robbie a forced smile. She hoped he didn't noticed how uncomfortable she was all of a sudden. Thinking of her unnamed hero, it always made her a bit sad. "You think Dr. Fuller would be there? It would be cool to meet him. His reputation is just...wow!"

"She's in level three. Worst level to be on. She's in the critical care ward. And two visitors at a time, luckily for us." He caught her hand with his, feeling her tense up. He brushed it off, she had said no after all. Robbie, just needed someone right now, it was nice to feel a compassionate touch now and then.

Gia squeezed his hand back, letting him know that she was starting to get comfortable again. Then again, it was hard not to be comfortable and relaxed with Robbie around. "Critical Care? Wow, um, maybe this was a bad idea. I probably shouldn't be here, not that I don't want to be here for you," she quickly assured him, "because I do, I really do, but this..." Gia sighed, stopping as they waited for the elevator, trying to find the right words. "It's your mom, Robbie. Are you sure you want me there? I kind of feel like I'm...I don't know, intruding."
